Delhi technological University conducts lateral entry entrance test DTU LEET for direct admissions to the 3rd semester of 4 year BTech programmes offered by DTU under the lateral entry scheme. It is a gateway for diploma holders to get admissions directly in the second year of the undergraduate BTech programme.
The 4 year BTech programmes offered under the lateral entry scheme are available in discipline which include:
Engineering Physics (EP)
Environmental Engineering (ENE)
Mechanical and Automotive Engineering (MAM)
Polymer Science & Chemical Technology (PCT)

DTU LEET 2019 Eligiblity Criteria
The candidates seeking admission to the BTech lateral entry programmes should possess a state diploma of three years in any branch of engineering or equivalent examination from a DTU recoganised university. The candidates should secure a minimum of 60% (50-55% for SC/ST) marks in all the semesters as an aggregate.
Final year students who meet the eligibility criteria can also apply for admissions. The only condition is that they need to produce all the certificates as proofs at the time of admission. Failing which, their candidature is subjected to cancellation.
Age Criteria: Applicant must be minimum 18 years and maximum 26 years of age on or before 01.10.17. Relaxation in minimum age of 1 year only with approval of Competent Authority is permissible (such candidate need to apply for relaxation only at the time of admission).
Delhi Region Candidates: A candidate passing the qualifying examination (Diploma) from a recognized College / Institute / University located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.
Outside Delhi Region Candidates: A candidate passing the qualifying examination (Diploma) from a recognized College / Institute / University located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

Step 1: Fill Application Form
Aspirants need to fill the application form online on the official website. Aspirants are informed that in order to fill the application form entrance exam for UG course admissions they need to register on the admission portal.
Applicants need to upload their photograph and scanned signature such that it is maximum of 50 KB in size and is in JPG/ JPEG/ PNG format.
Apart from the amount mentioned below, aspirants need to pay additional registration fee for every Course/Programme for which they are applying for the entrance exam.
Step 2: Download DTU LEET 2019 Admit Card
Candidates need to download their admit card from the official website of the University by filling in their registered email ID and password on the entrance exam portal. Aspirants will not be allowed to take the entrance test if they are not carrying a valid DUET admit card on the exam day.
Step 3: Appear for DTU LEET 2019 Entrance Test
Students need to appear for DTU LEET as per the schedulementioned on their admit card. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before commencement of the exam.
Step 4: Check the DTU LEET 2019 Result
The University would be declaring the results for DTU LEET exams on the official website of. The varsity would also display the result on the notice boards of the Faculty that would be conducting the
DTU LEET 2019 Exam Pattern
Admissions to the B.Tech programmes under the lateral entry scheme are offered on the basis of a written test which is conducted by DTU.
Mode of Exam
Written or online exam.
In case of computer based exam, a demo will be given for the exam takers in order to give then an idea about the exam pattern.
Every correct answer will be awarded four marks, and for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted each.
The merit will be prepared on the basis of DTU LEET examination scores which will be calculated on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the written/online test.
